With a total surface of 34sqm and a few decades of neglect, this tiny apartment in the Kreuzkölln area required a considerable amount of planning before anything could be done.

Accordingly with the owner’s budget, the flat was completely refitted to maximise functionality and storage space while still keeping a clean, minimal look.
The original beech floorboards were restored to their natural color; the small bathroom was redesigned to fit a large walk-in shower and a bespoke vanity countertop.

The partition that used to divide the kitchen from the main room was taken down to reveal a continuity between the two environments, giving the studio a roomier feeling.
